Purposes of processing

The processing of personal data on our website is limited to the data required to provide a functional website and user-friendly content and services.

In particular, we therefore collect personal data on our website for:

  • internal administrative purposes (e.g. to ensure the stability and operational security of the system);
  • processing your request or concern

Legal bases

The processing of personal data in connection with our website is based on Art. 6 para. 1 GDPR:

  • your consent if you provide us with your data voluntarily e.g. for the preparation of offers or the retrieval of information (letter a);
  • our legitimate interest e.g. in ensuring the stability and operational security of the system (point (f)).

Storage duration

We store the personal data collected each time our website is accessed and files are transferred for a maximum period of one year. The data is stored for reasons of data security – in particular to defend against attempted attacks on our web server – and to ensure the stability and operational security of our system.

Web analysis

We do not carry out our own web analyses on our website and do not use any web analysis tools. This means that the aforementioned visitor and usage data is not analyzed.

We use cookies on our website to make our offer more user-friendly. The data entered in online forms is transmitted in 256-bit encrypted form via HTTPS.

Your express consent is required for us to store your registration data. We will first provide you with comprehensive information about the purpose and scope of data processing at the relevant point. You can then give your declaration of consent by activating a checkbox. Your declaration of consent will be logged by us; we will save the corresponding location on the website as well as the date and time.

You have the option of revoking your declaration of consent informally at any time. The revocation must be sent to the address in the contact details of the person responsible for data processing in this privacy policy.

Your order data will also be stored in your customer account.

We use the personal data collected via the contact form exclusively for the proper processing of your request and for your consultation.

You can object to the use of the data for the aforementioned purpose at any time. The revocation should be sent to the address in the contact details of the person responsible for data processing in this privacy policy.

We will delete all data that we are not required to retain by law e.g. for accounting purposes as soon as the order has been completed.

B. General data processing of the CINIT GmbH

The CINIT GmbH collects the following data:

  • Title, first name, last name
  • Address
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone number (landline and/or mobile)
  • Date of birth
  • Bank details
  • Company data

Purposes of processing

This data is collected where necessary to:

  • be able to identify you as our customer/client/client etc;
  • conclude a consultancy agreement, mandate agreement, contract for work, etc;
  • for correspondence with you;
  • for invoicing;

Legal basis

Your data will be processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 let. a,b,c,e GDPR.

  • 6 para. 1 let. a GDPR: Data processing is based on consent
  • 6 para. 1 let. b GDPR: Data processing is based on a contract or the implementation of pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject
  • 6 para. 1 let. c GDPR: Data processing is based on the fulfillment of a legal obligation
  • 6 para. 1 let. e GDPR: Data processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller

Recipients or categories of recipients of the personal data

As we operate as your provider-independent consulting company for information and communication technology (ICT) solutions, the partners we use also change. “Many roads lead to the same goal” also applies when choosing an ICT solution for your company. Which path is the most optimal or best for your company and which ICT solution provider (carrier/provider) offers the right solution for your digital corporate communication and thus fulfills your individual requirements determines which solution provider is used and contains your personal data for order processing. You will receive this information during the consultation to select the best solution provider. Corresponding solution providers are order processors and are listed in the order processing directory.

Transfer of personal data to a third country

Your personal data will only be transferred to recipients in a third country or to another international organization if the following guarantees are in place:

  • The third country provides an adequate level of protection for personal data according to the European Commission;
  • The recipient has signed a contract based on “model contractual clauses” confirmed by the European Commission which oblige it to protect the personal data.

We will be happy to provide further information on the protection of your personal data when it is transferred to a specific third country on request.

Duration of storage of personal data

Your data will be stored after collection by CINIT GmbH for as long as is necessary to:

  • fulfill the above-mentioned purposes of CINIT GmbH;
  • is necessary on the basis of legitimate interests. This concerns the archiving and documentation of the consultation and possible liability issues etc.

C. Data security

Website

When you visit our website, we use the widespread TLS /SSL method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the address bar of your browser.

General data processing

In addition, we generally apply suitable technical and organizational security measures when processing data in order to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures correspond to the current state of the art.

Rights of data subjects

According to the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights:

  • to obtain information about the personal data processed or the categories of personal data processed, the purposes of processing, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the intention to transfer data to a third country or an international organization including suitable guarantees, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on its details;
  • to request the rectification, completion, or erasure of your personal data that is incorrect or not processed in accordance with the law;
  • require us to restrict the processing of your personal data;
  • in certain circumstances, to object to the processing of your personal data or to withdraw the consent previously given for the processing;
  • to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or to request that it be transferred to another controller;
  • to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.

Right to withdraw consent

If you have consented to the processing by CINIT GmbH by means of a corresponding declaration, you can revoke your consent at any time for the future. This does not affect the lawfulness of the data processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.

Right to object in application of Art. 6 para. 1 let. f GDPR

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, provided that there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation.
